Site Updates (Visual Goodness)

I’ve been so busy this last week finishing up a freelance project and (finally) putting together a video reel for my portfolio site. Wanna see? Ok!

The freelance project was for a new business here in Minneapolis called El Diablo Amps & Guitars. It’s a boutique amp retailer like no other—appointment-based service, private equipment auditions and week-long try-out periods. It’s pretty insane. I don’t know much (or anything) about amps but these beauties are cool—they have a retro vibe that I really dig. El Diablo also does guitar repair focused on quality work and amazing customer service. If you’re in the Twin Cities, you should definitely check them out.

To see more images from the project, head on over to my portfolio site. And be sure to check out their website at www.eldiabloamps.com.

I’m also really excited to reveal my new video reel! It’s a compilation of some of my favorite videos that I’ve made over the last year. So pop some popcorn, sit back and enjoy! (You’re gonna need to eat that popcorn fast though because it’s only about a minute long.) Here we go!

Something Wicked This Way Comes

This last weekend I did a little photo shoot for the freelance project I’ve been working on for the last few months (the one that I mentioned here). This next week I’ll be putting the finishing touches on the project and will hopefully get images and links up for you all to see soon! I’m also going to be doing some other little updates to my portfolio site in the next month—new projects, new photos, new videos! Can you feel the excitement?!

Exclamation points!!!

Minnesota Bride Love

Check it.

The wedding that Amber Tredinnick and I designed invitations* for last fall was featured in the Fall/Winter issue of Minnesota Bride this year!

To see more pics of what we designed, check out my portfolio site. A special thanks goes out to LaVie Photography for letting me use their images on my site and also for shooting the awesome pics that made it into the magazine. Champagne for all!

*We also designed the menus, place cards, programs, party favors, thank you cards, etc…

Loving Leova

This last week I’ve been working on a freelance project for my old employer back in Nebraska. It’s a t-shirt for an upcoming trip to Leova, Moldova. Never heard of it? Neither had I! A small group of volunteers will be heading there this month to help out with several community service projects. Pretty neat, huh?

Although they’re still in the “deciding stages” of which design to go with… I thought I’d share my personal favorite. Simple. Clean. BRIGHT!

And (lucky you) here’s a “behind the scenes” shot of my design process. Lots of sketches!!! Lots.

Now let’s all learn about Moldova!
